​Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past five years, no doubt you’ve watched the explosion of the fitness and firearms community. It’s easy to see why it’s become the fastest growing 2A sport in the country. 

 

If you’re a fitness enthusiast who likes firearms this sport will bring you back to after school practice and plinking bottles in the junkyard. On top of that it has a community that rivals CrossFit circa 2008.

 

Fitness & Firearms ONLINE brings the challenge, experience and community of in-person competition to your home range. For those who have been watching and wanting from the bleachers of instagram or just haven't had the time and money to travel, F&FO is here for you.​

What is FAFO?

 

​Part fitness part firearms competition held online. 

How it works?

 

FAFO releases workouts with specific instructions on site at stated dates.  Athletes are given a period of time to perform and videotape their workouts as instructed. Videos and scores are uploaded for validation. Once validated, scores and their accompanied videos are posted to FAFO's interactive leaderboard.

What / How do you win?

 

Trophies and prizes are awarded to the top 3 place winners in each division. Additional prizes, including a grand prize are placed into the FAFO Prize Pool.

 

Every competitor who (1) registers and (2) submits all scores on time (3) and is not disqualified, receives one entry to the FAFO prize pool.

 

Competitors earn additional entries through placement in each individual workout and overall competition placing.

Q: How do I register? 

A: Visit FitnessandFirearmsONLINE.com and click on any of the links that say register. If you want to be the first to know when pre-registration and registration go live subscribe to the newsletter

 

Q: How Much Space do I need?

A: 50yr single bay or back yard range that is 50 yards long x 5 yards wide

Q: What are max shooting distances?

A: 25 yrds pistol, 50 yards rifle.

 

Q: What FIREARMS equipment do I need?

A: Firearms equipment needed:

  • Pistol -  9mm/40cal 

  • Rifle - 223/556

  • Recommended 4 magazines for both. 

  • Ear + Eye protection.  

  • **BELT/HOLSTER is NOT REQUIRED

  • Firearms do not have to be but can be retained on person during the fitness portion of workouts.

 

Q: What FITNESS equipment is needed: 

  • 1 pair 35lb dumbbells

  • 1 pair 50lb dumbbells

  • 1 pair 70lb dumbbells 

  • Plyo Box capable of 20, 24, 30" heights. 

  • ** Intermediate/masters no 70lb needed. 

  • **NO WEIGHT VEST

 

Q: How much ammo do I need:

A: Max ammo is 200 or less rifle, 200 or less pistol.

Q: What divisions will there be?

A: male elite / male intermediate&masters / women elite / women intermediate&masters

 

Q: What age does masters start at?

A: 40 years old. 

 

Q: Are there any optic requirements? 

A: Pistols can be red dot or iron sight, Rifle no optic restrictions. 

 

Q: How do I submit my scores?

A:

1. Record it as directed in the official workout ruleset released with each event.

2. Upload video to personal YouTube channel. 

3. Submit scores and video URL to “submissions” section of WODdocTactical.com website.
