FAFO Fam!
Damn July 12th... sorry I am late with this months workout. Been prepping for our Aug 1-4 event and the time got away from me.
Which by the way. If you haven't signed up. Get on it. 5 Workouts are released on Friday August 1st and you have until 11PM August 4th to do them all and submit your scores.
Plus everyone that enters gets a sandbag from Freedom Strength included with registration.

6 Rounds Really...
Well, at least thats what I was thinking when trying to do max cals with a smoked back.

Required Equipment
- Bike (no rower --> supplement 15 burpees)
- Sandbag (100, 150, 200)
- Rifle
- 40 yrd Shooting Bay
Complete the following:
6 Rounds: 2:30mins on / 2mins off
60 sec. Bear Hug Bag Hold
10 rifle
Max Bike Cal in remaining time
Sandbag Weights
ME: 200
Masters 150
WE: 100
Target Setup:
Take a 1/2 sheet of paper 8x11 printer paper as target.
Rifle Target Distance: 40 yrds (48ft)
Loudout:
6x10 Rifle (can use 1 mag and relaod during 2:00 rest periods)
Firing Position:
Free standing non supported
Setup:
Place targets (6 1/2 peaces of paper) downrange stapled at shoulder height.
Measure from targets up-range 40ft --> Mark firing line.
Set your rifle at the firing line (can be on box or table).
Place your bike and bag behind the firing line.
Instructions:
Athlete will start standing next to their bag with bag on ground.
On go athlete will pick up the sandbag and perform a static hold using a bear hug grip.
Once 60 seconds has elapsed athlete will drip bag and load and fire 10 rifle shots free standing/unsupported.
Perform Clearing Procedure
- Remove magazine
- Close bolt/slide
- Point firearm downrange and pull trigger
- Place rifle/pistol down
- Raise both hands and yell out loud "clear!"
With remaining time athlete with accumulate max cals on bike.
Rest 2 mins.
Repeat for 6 total rounds
Scoring:
Each rifle hit = 1 point
Each bike cal = 1 point
